Pamela Sue Ray Jackson, affectionately known as "Pam," was born on February 25, 1959, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully at her home in Cleveland, Texas, on November 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Pam's life was marked by her unwavering love and commitment to her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Craig Jackson, with whom she shared 15 cherished years. Pam was a proud and nurturing mother to her children, Angelia Sanford and April Jones and husband Joe. She found immense joy in being a sister to Patricia Barrington and her husband Ronald, and Cheryl Ray. Pam's legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Dewayne LaBuff and his wife Bailey, Nathan Butler, James Sanford, Nicholas Jones, Austin Jones, and Landon "Hammy" Jones. Additionally, she was a beloved great grandmother to Kasen LaBuff, Hadley Jo LaBuff, Western Butler, and Paisley Butler. Her family also includes her nephew, Brian Dominguez, and his wife Anna, along with their children, Cullen and Jonah, in addition to numerous cousins and a host of other family members and friends.
Throughout her life, Pam enjoyed various hobbies and interests, particularly fishing and spending quality time with her family. She took great pride in being a loving wife, mother, sister, and Nana, considering her family her proudest accomplishment.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Ray and Gladys Cormack Ray, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Reba Carpenter and Lynn Jackson.
A visitation in honor of Pam will be held on December 2, 2024, at China Grove Baptist Church in Willis, Texas, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location starting at 11:00 AM with pastors Johnny Dowell and Charles Jones officiating. She will be laid to rest at Magnolia Community Cemetery near her home following the service.
Pam's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
