Penelope (Penny) Carnes

Penelope (Penny) Carnes, 77, of Cleveland, Texas passed away Sunday November 27, 2016. She was born Wednesday February 22, 1939, in Bell County, Texas to Elmer Cenett and Mamie (Durham) Lewis, both of whom have proceeded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son Rhet Motley and her sister Martha Odiorne.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 49 years Jack Carnes; children Martha Kay Miller and husband Jon, Angelia Evans, Richard Carnes and wife Tracy; grandchildren Lauren Welch and husband Heath, Kayla Few, Bradley Carnes and wife Kimmie, Phillip Carnes, Chris Carnes, Andrew Carnes, Seth Motley, Sean Motley and Ethan Fowler; great-grandchildren Nolan Carnes and Eric Carnes; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.
A memorial service for Penny will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cleveland Senior Citizen Center, or your favorite charity.
