Phronita Janet Marshall, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. "Nita" was born on January 08, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Emerson Marion Kurtz and Annie Hazel (Bragg) Kurtz, both of whom have preceded her in death.
Nita was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Elton Marshall, Sr. Her beloved husband Billy Ed Woodard who served our Country in the Military Services. Nita is survived by her cherished children, Thomas Elton Marshall Jr., Alisha Ann Marshall and Jason Herring, Ashley Elizabeth Marshall and finace' Allen Perdue, Charlotte Megan Woodard and husband Cory Williams. brothers, Phillip Henry Kurtz and wife Pat, Jimmy Oglesby and wife Frances; grandchildren Megan Nichols, Thomas Marshall, Johnny Ray Herring, Breanna Perdue, Austin Perdue, Nicole Woodard, Lexus Pena, Bella Williams. Countless other loving family and treasured friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made directly to the funeral home for funeral expenses. Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday June 21, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be June 22, 2015 at the Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Officiating, Reverend Paul Boyd.
