Rebecca Sue DeMoss, 55, "Ms. Becky" of Coldspring, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. She was born on Sunday, February 5, 1961 in Fresno, California. Ms. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Ray Long.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 33 years, Layne Charles DeMoss; two sons, Layne Charles DeMoss II " Lucky" and his wife Megan and Marshall Ray DeMoss; mother, Beverly Ann (Caudle) Long; brother, Gary Eugene Long and wife Traci; grandson, Grady Charles DeMoss. Numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and treasured friends. Ms. Becky always had a love for children she was the owner of Ms. Becky's Kid Stop in Cleveland for over 15 years, she worked at Busy Box Day Care for over 8 years. She was an advocate for children and sat as a member of the Texas Early Child Hood Board. Ms. Becky and Mr. Layne were big supporters of the San Jacinto Livestock Show and Sale, they bought many animals over the years. Ms. Becky was awarded the FFA mother of the year numerous times and continued to be a big supporter of the FFA Alumni Association. Ms. Becky was a mother to many, loved by all and will be dearly missed. Her visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at the Laurel Hill Cemetery. Brother Howell Burkhead, Officiating.
