Ronnie Clayton Barrentine, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, entered the gates of Heaven on July 16, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1953, in Ruleville, Mississippi to his loving parents Leonard Barrentine and Pearl Barrentine.
Ronnie led a life of joy, laughter, and love. He was a retired carpenter/electrician who poured his heart into his work. Beyond professional life, Ronnie had a wide array of hobbies and interests that brought him happiness. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working around the house, and spending time outdoors. However, above all else, he cherished spending time with his family dearly and was known for driving Christina crazy.
Ronnie's memory will forever live on in those he leaves behind. He is survived by his children, Clayton Barrentine and wife Christina, Cassandra Barrentine, and LaTonya Slade and husband Robert, Jason Brown and wife Megan, Larry Schuhardt and wife Laura, and Corey Konarik; brothers, James Barrentine, Raymond Barrentine, and Terry Barrentine and wife Suzanne; sisters, JoAnn Jackson and Martha Jean Anderson. Ronnie also leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren, Tyler Barrentine, Courtney Forbes and husband Tylor, Brandon Valentine, Gavin Valentine, and Cheyane Barrentine; great-grandchildren, Gemma Forbes, Addy Forbes, and Meric Forbes; along with many other loving family members and treasured friends.
He is now in peace with his father, Joe Leonard Barrentine; mother Alice Pearl Barrentine; brothers Lester Barrentine and John Lewis Barrentine; sisters, Eleanor Terry, Tressie Webb, Pearl Schingler, and Linda Sue McGraw.
