Rosalind Mary Lillian "Lily" Tila

Rosalind Mary Lillian "Lily" Tila, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Cleveland, Texas, She was born on Tuesday,October 5, 1920 in Mellis, England to Thomas and Marie (Thurlow) Gooderham, both of whom have preceded her in death. Lily was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Willie F. Tila, her second mother Edith Smith Gooderham, brother Peter Gooderham, sister's Betty Gooderham and Kathie Buck. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Marian Vann and husband Kermit; son, David Tila and wife Laura , brother Leslie Gooderham and wife Jean; grandchildren, Cynthia Thomas and husband Chuck, Joanie Wheeler and husband Chris, Carol Tila, Keith Rodgers and wife Dana, Brent Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers and wife Nicole; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jourdan and husband Kyle, Ethan, Rance, Ryleigh, Reese, Ryan, Matthew, Benjamin and great-great granddaughter, Annibelle; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Lily will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday September 10, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment for "Lily" will follow at Forest Park Lawndale . Reverend Bob White and Chaplain Ken Faust officiating. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
