Roy Edward Floyd Jr

Roy Edward Floyd, Jr., 74, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, February 29, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Roy and Bettye Floyd, both of whom have preceded him in death. Roy was also preceded in death by a grandchild whom he considered family, Ethan Cronin. Left to cherish his memory are his love Carol Sherrard; daughters, Shelley Baker and husband Darrin, Lisa Greatorex and husband Paul, Sandra Rookey and husband Josh; Grandchildren, Maxwell Baker, Peyton Baker, Finn Greatorex, Aria Greatorex, Chloe Rookey, Lucy Rookey, and Juliet Rookey; also those he considered family, daughters, Lisa Cronin and husband Earl, and Darlynn Schoppe; Grandchildren, Billy Cronin, Sarah Cronin, Rebekah Cronin, Clint Schoppe, and Lori Schoppe along with numerous other treasured friends. Visitation for Roy will be Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Neal Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral for Roy will be commence at 3 p.m. Interment will be at Farley Chapel Cemetery.
