Ruby Lorain Fain

Ruby Lorain Fain, 69, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. She was born on Sunday, September 1, 1946 in Channelview, Texas to Jesse Cecil Soffes and Velma Irene Simmons, both of whom have preceded her in death. Ruby was also preceded in death by her husband Donald Fain of 47 years. Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughters, Laura Salyer and husband Clint, Charlotte A. Hood and husband Mike; brother, Jimmy Soffes and wife Maxine; sister, Rinnie Richey and husband Willard; grandchildren, Christopher Forrest, Monika Forrest and Brendan Hood; great-grandchild, Alex Nathaniel Forrest and her "furry angels"; numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Funeral Services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment will be following the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery in Channelview, Texas. The funeral services will be officiated by Brother Troy Moore.
