Stella Kay Jacobs, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who held a deep affection for her family and friends, passed away on June 12, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1969, in Houston, Texas.
Kay will always be remembered for the warmth and love she shared with those around her. She loved her family, and was known as “Mom” for more than just her biological family. She cared for and helped everyone; always putting others before herself. Throughout her life, Kay created cherished memories by opening her home to others and delighting in family gatherings. Her dedication to coordinating holidays and family vacations brought joy to all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her mother, Windford Sharon Hopson. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Kay is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Claude Jacobs Jr.; father, Kenneth Harold Hopson; children, Dylan Jacobs (Amber), Devan Jacobs, and Grant Millican; brother, Kenneth Roy Hopson; sister, Sharon Elizabeth Shannon (Jim); grandchildren, Owen Millican, Thomas Jacobs, and Josie Millican; great grandmother Ruby Hopson, as well as a multitude of caring family members and treasured friends. Her life will be celebrated during visitation services on June 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, TX. A graveside service will take place on June 19, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Morgan Cemetery in Cleveland, TX. There will be a gathering afterwards at Cornerstone Church on Highway 105 in Cleveland, TX.
Honoring Kay as Pallbearers are Moses Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Justin Childers, Shelton Keck, Shannon Hopson and Trevor Blain.
Kay Jacobs touched the hearts of many with her kindness and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.
