Stephanie Lynn Laxton

Stephanie Lynn Laxton, born on February 23, 1965, in Houston, Texas, entered into rest on August 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unwavering faith. Stephanie was not just a beloved wife, daughter, mother, and sister; she was a beacon of light to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

For 27 years, Stephanie shared her life with her devoted husband, Gregory Laxton. Their marriage was a testament to love enduring through life's trials and triumphs. Gregory could always count on Stephanie’s laughter and kindness to fill their home with joy and comfort. Stephanie's heart was a vast reservoir of love for her family. She cherished her children, Alex Dunn and his wife CeJay, Jake Laxton, and Spencer Dunn, nurturing them with tenderness and guidance. With each meal she cooked and every moment she spent together, she instilled values of compassion, respect, and faith in the lives of her beloved children. Stephanie also leaves behind her loving parents, Leonard and Sharon O'Neal; her brother, Kirby O'Neal, and his wife Charlotte; along with many other loving family members and a host of treasured friends. 

Stephanie's interests revealed the sincerity of her spirit. She found joy in crocheting, where her hands would create warmth not just through the thread but also through the love woven into each stitch. Her cooking was another expression of this love, as she prepared meals that nourished both body and soul, often gathered around the table with her family sharing laughter and stories. A woman of faith, Stephanie was a faithful servant to the Lord, drawing strength and purpose from her beliefs. Her spirituality shone brightly, guiding her actions and thoughts, and providing comfort to those around her in times of need. Stephanie also had a tender spot in her heart for her animals, seeing them as cherished members of her family. 

Stephanie Lynn Laxton is now reunited with her paternal grandparents, George and Ruby O'Neal, her maternal grandparents, Eddie and Agnes Odessa Roberts, and her nephew, Aaron O'Neal, who have welcomed her with open arms in eternity. Although she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

As we reflect on Stephanie’s life, we celebrate a remarkable woman who touched countless lives with her love. Her legacy of family, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire us all. She will always be remembered for the warmth of her smile, the depth of her love, and the strength of her spirit. Rest in peace, dear Stephanie; your light will never fade.
