Susan C Andrews

Susan C Andrews, 53, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Bronx, New York. Susan was born on Monday, December 21, 1959 in Houston, Texas to Neil and Sandra Andrews. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Neil Andrews; Left to cherish her memory is her mother Sandra Wallace Andrews ; daughters, Kristen Michelle Ward and husband Clint Austin Ward, Brigitte Monique Stamps; son, Anthony James Pitre; grandchild, Maya Michelle Ward; sisters, Cynthia Pearson, Lisa Polkinghorn and husband Bill; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Susan was truly a remarkable person. She graduated from Memorial high school while she also attended the High School for Visual and Performing Arts and excelled in her classes there. She then attended Houston Baptist University for a year, launching her career in commercial art. Susan was an artist for Southwest Art Magazine for several years, and then was contracted by a large engineering firm and trained as a mechanical draftsman, excelling in both art and math was an uncommon combination. Susan also free-lanced with her commercial art skills allowing her to take time with her children while they were young.
Funeral Services for Susan will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Neal Funeral Home Chapel, Interment will follow at the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
