Suzette J. Bone, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Cleveland, Texas. Born on October 13, 1959, in Houston, Texas, she was known for her simplicity, trustworthiness, and unwavering love for her family.
Suzette cherished the time spent with her loved ones, always finding joy in their company. Her passion for baking was evident, particularly in her delightful birthday cakes, and she had a particular fondness for sweets and chocolates. She loved to fish. Beyond her culinary talents, she enjoyed crocheting and crafting quilts, showcasing her creative spirit and dedication to her family.
She leaves behind her husband of 20 years, Preston Bone, Jr., along with her children: James Gregory and his wife Kelsey, Beau Gregory, Matt Gregory and his wife Melinda, Amanda Desilva and her husband Phillip, and Jason Gregory and his wife Rachel. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Mason Guard, Skylar Gregory, Jaylee Gregory, Jaxon Gregory, John Walter Gregory, Memphis Gregory, Harlan Gregory, Virginia Gregory, Cheyenne Gregory, Baby Gregory, and Briar Gregory. Furthermore, she is survived by her brothers, James Lindsey and his wife Laura, and Butch Lindsey and his wife Terrie; as well as her sister, Thresa Creel and her husband Wesley. Her family also includes many other loving relatives and a host of friends who will deeply miss her.
Suzette was predeceased by her Dad, Harmon "Buddy" Pink Ezell, her mother, Loretta Hopkins, and her sisters, Sandra Lindsey and Karen Lindsey.
In memory of Suzette, a visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home located at 200 South Washington Avenue, Cleveland, TX 77327. A funeral service for Suzette will follow at the same location, commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas.
Suzette J. Bone's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Her contributions to her family and community will not be forgotten, as she touched the lives of many with her kindness, creativity, and unwavering support.
