Timothy Neil Bennett

Timothy Neil Bennett, a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather entered into rest on July 22, 2024. He was born on September 20, 1967, in Houston, TX, to Ronald Glenwood Bennett and Mary Doris Bennett. Timothy will be remembered for his kind heart, love for the outdoors, passion for playing the guitar, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Tim's fondest moments were those spent serenading his family with melodies from his guitar and sharing laughter over a cold beer. His warmth and humor created an atmosphere of love and camaraderie wherever he went.

Timothy is survived by his loving children, Tanya Rose Yslas and her husband Gabriel, Brittany Garcia and her husband Ruben, and Shawn Bennett; brothers, Louis Hayden Bennett and his wife Shelly, and Thomas Allen Bennett; sisters, Barbara Lynn Sharp and her husband Danny, Patricia Ann Lee, Donna Fay Oakes, Margaret West and her husband Kirk, Lois Annette McCoy and her husband Len, and Sandra Moore; grandchildren, Nathan Bennett, Miabella Garcia, Izabella Garcia, Stephanie Yslas, Gabriel Yslas Jr., Sarah Yslas; and as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends. 

Timothy is preceded in death by his dear parents, Ronald Glenwood Bennett and Mary Doris Bennett; brothers, William Bennett, Ronald Dale Bennett, and Gary Ray Bennett; and sisters, Linda Lou Crabtree, Deborah Sue Schneider, and Lisa Renee Pierson.

A visitation to honor Timothy's life will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM. to 5:00 PM.

As we grieve the loss of Timothy Neil Bennett from our lives, let us also celebrate the light he brought into this world and hold onto the treasured memories we shared with him. May his spirit live on through the love he shared with all who knew him.
