Travis Wayne Wood " Boodle"

Travis Wayne Wood, 80, of Plum Grove, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born on Tuesday, March 13, 1934 in Angelina County, Texas to William Travis Wood and Sophia Wood, both of whom have preceded him in death. Travis was also preceded in death by his brother, James Wood; Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 31 years Loyce Enloe Wood; beloved children, Wayne and Debbie Wood of Plum Grove, Deneen and Alton Carter of Cleveland, Danny and Karen Enloe of Plum Grove, Elaine and Eddie Wayne Whitmire of Calvert, Lesa and Russell Hennigan of Kirbyville, Noble and Paula Enloe of Plum Grove, Donald and Maria Enloe of Splendora and Sheila and Bubba Hardy of Plum Grove; 24 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Travis loved to hunt and fish, he spent a lot of his retirement years honing his skills as a first class "Paw Paw". He was truly loved and will be truly missed. Visitation will be held at Splendora First Pentecostal Church on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Splendora First Pentecostal Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery. Officiating, Reverend Ronnie Culberth and Reverend Eddie Whitmire.
