Vestal Valley Knight Miller, 91, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Cleveland, Texas.
Vestal was born Thursday, December 23, 1920, in Olla, LA to Earl Mayo Knight Sr. and Maggie Lee George-Knight, both of whom have preceded her in death. Vestal was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil Douglas Miller and her brother Earl Mayo Knight, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Mary Louise Witt and husband Bob of Bernice, LA, Charles Miller and wife Susan of Cleveland, TX, Tommy Miller and wife Peggy of Houston, TX and Susan Dupre and husband Daniel of Houston, TX; grandchildren Melissa, Cheryl, Tina, Michael, Stacie, Kelli, Christie, Mindy and Eric; great-grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Colton, Kealee, Tiffany, Austin and Joshua. Numerous other loving family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Vestal will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6 - 9 pm at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral service for Vestal will be held Thursday at 2 pm at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
