Walter G. Varnado, 66, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013. He was born on Sunday, September 21, 1947 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Walter was preceded in death by his father, Onzie L Varnado, brother, Ricky Varnado, sister, Jauan Paige, granddaughter, Amy McElory; great-grandchild, Chyenne Varnado, Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Evie M. Varnado; children, Byron Varnado Sr. and wife Tammy, Bryan Varnado and wife Lisa, Jennifer Smith and husband Wyatt, Leesa Young and Keith Sanders; sister, Bronis Donnelly and husband Mike; grandchildren, Byron Varnado Jr., Brandon Varnado, Brett Varnado, Victoria Varnado, Zackary Varnado, Emalee Smith, Ashley McElory, Josh Taylor, Chance Young, Karma Dore, Brittany Sanders; 7 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Walter will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Graveside services will be on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Oak Shade Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. All Services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
