Wayne Sitton

Wayne Sitton, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully, doing what he loved most, on April 23, 2024, at the age of 74 in his hometown of Splendora, Texas. Born on June 13, 1949, to Sherman B. Sitton and Alma Underbrink, Wayne's life was marked by a profound love for his family and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.

Wayne's memory will forever be cherished by his devoted wife, Faye Sitton, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and laughter. He was a pillar of strength and support for his daughters, Sheila Reynolds and Laura Daniels, as well as his stepson, Alan Junghans. Wayne's legacy of kindness and generosity will live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of compassion and warmth.

Throughout his life, Wayne touched the hearts of many with his kind and caring ways. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him, whether through his involvement in the community or his presence within his family.

In addition to his immediate family, Wayne leaves behind a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly. His memory will be treasured by all those who knew him through the days ahead.

Although Wayne may no longer be with us in body, his legacy of love and his spirit of generosity will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

Visitation for  Wayne will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A service of remembrance will be on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Judge James Metts officiating. Interment to follow at Morgan Cemetery.
