William "Bud" Shay

William L. "Bud" Shay, 83, of Splendora, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was born on Sunday, March 27, 1931 in Fredonia, Kansas to Warren W. and Frankie (Parks) Shay, both of whom have preceded him in death. Bud was also preceded in death by his beloved spouse of 59 years, Mary Louise Shay; son, Ernest Wayne Shay; brother, George Shay, sister, Isabel (Shay) White, and his grandson, Brandon Wayne Shay; Left to cherish his memory is his loving sons, William Billy Shay and Ronnie and his wife Rhonda Shay; brothers, Bob Shay and wife Irene, Mike Shay and wife Eva, Frank Shay and wife Jane; sisters, Murdean Weatherby, Nellie Claiborne, Linda Crain and husband Tom; grandchildren, Stephanie Shay, Jennifer Shay and John Bice, Ashley Shay and Lori Shay; great-grandchildren, Rylie, Brooke and Kelsey. Numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Special thanks to Barbara Robison for her wonderful care she gave Bud. There will be a viewing for family and friends at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
