Willis B. Hammond, 71, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 in The Woodlands, Texas. Willis was born Saturday, August 3, 1940, in Many, Louisiana to Raymond Vessie and Mary Agnes Hammond, both of whom preceded him in death. Willis was also preceded in death by his dear friend, Jr. White. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Hammond; children Larry Hammond and wife Sharron, of Shepherd, Texas, Stephanie Bond and husband Jimmy, of Livingston, Texas, Dawn Clack and husband David, of Shepherd, Texas, Lance Hammond and wife Cortney, of Conroe, Texas; brother Raymond Hammond and wife Amber of Westlake, Louisiana; sister; Mary Moore of Flatonia, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, numerous other loving family and friends. Visitation service for Mr. Hammond will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at 5:00 pm at Neal Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will proceed immediately after services at Farley Chapel in Shepherd, Texas. Officiating; Rev. Mike Chapman and Rev. Larry Dean; He will be escorted to his grave by his grandsons and nephews; Robert Hammond, Matthew Hammond, Mark Hammond, William Bond, Kyle Clack, Luke Hammond, Tre' Page, John Kennedy, Chester Dixon, and George Dixon.
